Founded by Dennis A. Baranski,
the firm of D.A. Baranski & Co. Art and Antiquities, has maintained
operation from its headquarters in northeast Kansas since 1979.
The firm provides certified appraisals
for a wide range of fine art. It's brokerage division engages
in the private placement of art and antiquities for individuals and institutions
worldwide. It has served as consultants to individual collectors
and institutional clients including museums, libraries and corporations
since its inception.
Dennis A. Baranski, president and CEO holds
a Juris Doctorate from the Washburn University School of Law.
In the fall of 1981 he was "court qualified" as an art expert by the Federal
District Court for the United States in Topeka, Kansas. Beginning
in the 1980's he authored a regular monthly column entitled "Investment
Forum" for the Kansas Business News, a statewide business publication.
In large part the column dealt with investing in the world of fine art.
D.A. Baranski & Co. has served museums,
libraries, corporations and private individuals as one of the premier appraisal
and fine art brokerage firms for the past 20 years. Its most recent
venture, the Modern Day Masters Project, is an internet online gallery
designed to showcase and promote the world's most promising emerging artists.
